Town Council in Pittsfield, ME in September 1995.

A Proclamation
Whereas, it is nationally
recognized that September 24 through September 30, 1995
is Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week and
Whereas, the CLMB Foundation, a
non-profit organization formed in loving memory of
Pittsfield resident, Crystal-Lynn May Brooks, who dies of
carbon monoxide poisoning, is dedicated to education and
protection regarding this leading cause of poisoning
deaths in the United States; and
Whereas, in this preheating season, a
greater awareness of the hazards as well as the methods
of protection from carbon monoxide poisoning will be
promoted through this proclamation;
Now Therefore, it is hereby ordered by
the Pittsfield Town Council that the week of September 24
through September 30, 1995 is proclaimed
"Pittsfields Carbon Monoxide Awareness
Week,."
